List of Dronacharya, Dhyan Chand and Rashtriya Khel Protsahan Puruskar Awardees 2015

T he Sports Ministry today approved names for  Dronacharya Awards , Dhyan Chand Awards  and Rashtriya Khel Protsahan Puruskar  for year the  2015 . Wrestling coach Anoop Singh and Paralympics coach Naval Singh were among the five names which were officially approved by the Sports Ministry for the prestigious Dronacharya Award this year. Romeo James (hockey), Shiv Prakash Mishra (tennis) and TPP Nair’s (volleyball) were among the few winners of the Dhyan Chand Award. For Rashtriya Khel Protsahana Purushkar, Directorate General of Military Training was selected in ‘identification and nurturing of budding/young talent’ category, while Coal India Limited has been nominated in ‘encouragement to sports through corporate social responsibility’ category. I n a recent redesign of my own personal blog I decided to use a calendar style icon to display the post date . It’s one of those elements that would once have been created with background images, but now thanks to the wealth of CSS3 features it can be created entirely in CSS3.
